Carlos and Tanya have been a wonderful addition to the faith family of Redeemer. Not only is Carlos leading our marriage and family ministry but he and Tanya are also newish small group leaders. Carlos and Tanya have been happily married for 30 years. They have 2 adult children and one granddaughter.
As missionaries, the Santiagos have moved around a bit. Originally from NYC, they came to Arkansas in 2016 to serve with FamilyLife. Their ministry work brought them to Florida in 2021, and then returned them to Arkansas in 2024 to serve the marriages and families at Redeemer.
Throughout the years, they have been part of several amazing small groups. It has been in the context of the deep friendships and iron-sharpening-iron discipleship of those groups where they have seen their faith grow to a point where they can willingly say, here I am, Lord, send me.
Their group meets on Tuesday nights at 7 pm.

They are for real New Yorkers trying to figure out life in Arkansas. That means they shoot straight, know nothing about college football, and have never eaten "a grit." It also means there are a lot of fun moments as North meets South.
