Get Involved

Church members are not simply spectators who show up for a weekly worship service and then move on.  We are to be people who live life on mission, pouring out our lives to advance the kingdom of God in our world.

At the same time, we are members of one another.  We’re a family.  And as a family, God wants us to come together regularly to encourage and serve one another, spurring each other on to “love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24).

Here are a few of the ways we meet to fellowship and to serve together.

Membership

WHY SHOULD I JOIN A CHURCH? We’re glad you asked! At Redeemer we believe local church membership is the visible expression of the invisible work of God in the life of His followers.  Membership in a local church is essentially a pledge or a commitment not to an organization or an institution, but to other people, to be “members of one another” (Rom. 12:5). Individuals wishing to join RCC must be people who have surrendered their lives to Jesus, and who…

Small Groups

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Heb. 10:23-25 At Redeemer we believe that the “one anothers” of the Bible are best lived out in small groups. It’s in…

Men’s Ministry

Something awesome happens when men get together Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).  And when men get together with other men who know and love Jesus, we become better men, husbands and dads. Everyone benefits when a man becomes a more godly man.  Here are a few of the ways we connect together as men at Redeemer.  Burgers and Bros meets at David’s Burgers | 2nd Weds, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Once a month, guys get together to hang out, eat a burger and…

Student Ministry

The teen years can be confusing and stressful.  Teenagers are trying to figure out life and to discover who they are and why they’re alive.  The Student Ministry at Redeemer is all about introducing teenagers to Jesus, and helping them discover what it means for them to own their faith and live it out.   Our Junior and Senior High students meet together on Sunday evenings from 5:00–7:00 at the church. Things generally begin with a game or an icebreaker of some…

Redeemer Service Projects

We know there are countless opportunities and ways to reach out to those around us. One way to better connect and serve is to occasionally engage in a work project. RSP is open to men and women of ALL ages who have a desire to put work gloves on and serve in whatever capacity needed. Projects range from all types of cleaning, handyman work, minor electrical work or home repairs, painting, moving furniture, yardwork, etc.  If you have time, experience, or…

Children’s Ministry

Psalm 127:3–5a Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,                         the fruit of the womb a reward.             Like arrows in the hand of a warrior                         are the children of one’s youth.             Blessed is the man                         who fills his quiver with them! At Redeemer, we want to assist and support parents as they guide and train their children. We believe the Bible teaches that moms and dads have the primary responsibility for the spiritual development of their children. As we spend…

Mission & Outreach

“Let the peoples praise thee, O God; let all the peoples praise thee! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy!” (Ps 67:3-4) As a church, we have the privilege of being part of the gospel work God is doing in our city and around the world.  We agree with pastor and author John Piper who has said that when it comes to taking the gospel to the world, there are three kinds of Christians – those who go, those who send and…
